The Tone:

FCA is dedicated to developing student athletes in discerning their calling and career by introducing them to diverse aspects of ministry. This volunteer role is crucial for gaining hands-on learning and developmental ministry experience, helping interns deepen their understanding of their individual calling through practical training and engagement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Adherence: Agree with, and abide by, FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
• Spiritual Growth: Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord’s will for FCA.
• Leadership: Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
• Community: Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
• Conduct: Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA’s Christian beliefs at all times.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Collegiate volunteers seeking ministry experience.
• Experience: Engagement through FCA in a learning and developmental ministry experience during a summer or semester.
• Skills: Spiritual leadership, adherence to Christian doctrine, community engagement.
