This position invites applications for a Board Certified or Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join the Primary Care team in Longview, WA.

• You will join an integrated and compassionate team composed of physicians and supportive clinical and administrative staff.
• A significant feature is that 70% of your in-basket messages are handled by a dedicated team.
• To ensure work-life balance, “ghost physicians” cover messages when you are off, allowing you to truly unplug.
• You will work alongside experienced support staff.
• The system leverages a physician-friendly Epic EMR complemented by a virtual scribe service.
• There is seamless collaboration with specialty care, requiring no prior authorizations.
• The model emphasizes a PCP-first approach.
Training and Onboarding:
• New physicians benefit from a year-long ramp-up period.
• A full-year mentorship program is provided to ensure a strong start.
Schedule and Eligibility:
• The position is PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) eligible.
• Flexible 0.7-1.0 FTE schedules are available to accommodate personal life.
Compensation and Benefits:
NWP offers a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package:
• Annual Salary: Ranges from $271,000 to $308,000. This range considers the applicant’s skills, qualifications, degrees, certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
• Retirement Contributions: A generous automatic employer-funded pension and retirement contribution totaling 21% of clinician eligible earnings, with an additional employee contribution option.
• Primary Care Panel Incentive: Up to $55,000 per year.
• Compensation Model: Competitive, not based on a fee-for-service model.
• Shareholder Pathway: Physicians have a pathway to become shareholders of Northwest Permanente.
• Education Support: Paid annual education leave plus an annual education allowance.
• Comprehensive Benefits: Includes largely employer-funded medical, dental insurance premiums, life insurance, and paid leave.
• Professional Liability: Complete professional liability coverage is provided at no cost.
• Board Certification/CME: 100% reimbursement for obtaining and maintaining board certification, continuing medical education reimbursement, and access to in-house CME opportunities.
• Total Rewards Value: The overall value range of the total compensation package is estimated between $397,000 to $472,000.
