Position Overview
Ferguson is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Fabrication Associate to join our team. This role is crucial to our pipe fabrication operations, involving hands-on work with machinery and materials.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain various machines used for pipe fabrication within the shop.
- Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe lengths.
- Cut pipe using a band saw and/or torch.
- Perform rolling and grooving of single and double random pipe lengths.
- Execute threading and beveling of pipe using Landis machines.
- Efficiently move loose and/or bundled pipe to and from different locations within the pipe yard.
- Assemble pipe orders, whether as single sticks or bundles, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and work supplies.
- Strictly adhere to all vital safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping of pipe for storage and transportation.
- Operate powered industrial equipment in full compliance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson’s safe operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Possess outstanding math skills, including the ability to accurately calculate quantities of products on hand.
- Experience and training in operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe according to OSHA regulations is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to remain results-focused and efficient in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
- A strong ability to thrive and contribute positively in an inclusive work environment.

Pay Range
The estimated hourly pay range for this role is $17.17 – $25.76. This role is eligible for a Bonus or Incentive Plan. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations, and the starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state requirements.
