What You’ll Actually Do
• Operate Equipment: Safely use a stand-up forklift, including order selector/cherry picker, to retrieve and prepare customer orders for outbound shipping.
• Process Shipments: Accurately build, wrap, sort, and move pallets and packages, ensuring they are ready for transport.
• Manage Inventory: Utilize RF devices and other technology to efficiently sort, scan, and prepare orders with precision.
• Receive Materials: Accurately receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials in a timely manner.
• Maintain Safety & Cleanliness: Keep the workspace clean and collaborate with the team to ensure the facility is safe, accident-free, and adheres to all safety regulations, including proper PPE use.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career in warehouse operations. No formal educational requirement.
• Experience: 0-3 years of preferred experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• Skills: High attention to detail, strong dependability, solid work ethic, ability to learn new systems quickly, knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, ability to regularly lift items up to 50 lbs., comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: A proactive approach to improving system efficiencies and business practices.
