Explorer Internship Program
This internship program provides an opportunity for neurodiverse students to gain hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle.
Key features:
• Collaborative learning environment: Work in a pod with other Explorer Interns and gain experience in software engineering, product management, and technical program management.

Responsibilities:
• Gain hands-on experience with various software development tools and programming languages.
• Work closely with your manager, mentors, and fellow interns to evaluate requirements, estimate costs, and create and implement features and services.
• Experience core tech disciplines: Software Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Program Management.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be enrolled in the second year of a 4-year undergraduate degree program at the time of application.
• Completed an Introduction to Computer Science course (or equivalent) and one semester of calculus (or equivalent) by the start of the program.
• Eligible for the Neurodiversity Hiring Program.
• Preferred:
• Demonstrated interest in majoring in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related technical field.
Compensation:
• The base pay range for this internship is USD $25.08 – $46.08 per hour.
• A different range applies to specific work locations within the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area, with a base pay range of USD $36.12 – $51.31 per hour.
• Some roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
Location:
• This internship program is only available at the Redmond, Washington office.
