The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Merck, located remotely in Tres Cantos, Spain. Merck innovates with science and technology across Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics, aiming to enrich people’s lives. This role is crucial for supporting global manufacturing sites and shaping the financial setup, standardizing processes, and optimizing controlling within the Global Healthcare Operations network. The Expert will help implement controlling strategies, ensuring precision and operational excellence across the organization.

• Mission: Shape the financial setup, standardize processes, and optimize controlling across the global Healthcare Operations network.
• Tech Stack: SAP CO, SAP FI, TM1, MS Office (Excel, Power Point), Power BI

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide wide experience around manufacturing and standard costing processes to multiple manufacturing sites globally.
• Shape: Be in charge of shaping the financial setup within the Global Healthcare Operations Organization.
• Standardize: Standardize processes and optimize them across the network.
• Implement: Implement the controlling strategy, ensuring precision, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate: Foster collaboration with the Finance team, Site Controlling leads, and global stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor/Master’s degree in a business-related discipline. This is a Professional level role, requiring 4-9 years of experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial (manufacturing) organizations, with proficiency in SAP CO and FI modules and strong product costing knowledge.
• Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English, and advanced usage of TM1 and MS Office (Excel and Power Point).
• Bonus: A genuine interest to embrace and work with AI technologies, Power BI knowledge, and proficiency in other languages such as German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, or Chinese.
