The Tone:

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Hybrid – Santa Clara, CA, USA
• Pay: $203,000–$290,000 USD yearly
• Team: Reports to the Vice President, Business Transformation in the Finance department.
• Mission: Leads strategic finance transformation and post-merger finance integration, focusing on building a scalable, AI-enabled Finance function.
• Tech Stack: NetSuite, Coupa, ServiceNow, Workiva, Snowflake, Adaptive (or other EPM tools), Salesforce.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead end-to-end strategic transformation initiatives in key finance areas, including Record to Report, Source to Pay, and Asset Management.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, IT, CloudOps, Security, and Legal to leverage Lean methodology for developing scalable future state processes.
• Collaborate with IT to implement best-in-class systems and architecture, informed by the current tech stack, to achieve operational excellence.
• Design and implement an AI-enabled transformation strategy with the Leadership team to enhance customer, vendor, and employee experience.
• Develop and execute a metric-based strategy to track transformation progress, support post-merger finance integration, modernize controls, and drive necessary change management efforts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director level with deep technical knowledge of end-to-end Finance processes, including Record-to-Report, Source to Pay, Supply Chain, demand planning, FP&A, Quote to Cash, Tax, and Treasury within a corporate environment.
• Experience: 12+ years of experience supporting Finance Process and Systems Transformation, coupled with proven program management expertise in complex workstreams.
• Skills: Proficiency in enterprise and finance systems such as NetSuite, ServiceNow, Coupa, Salesforce, and Snowflake; exceptional communication skills to drive change and facilitate alignment across cross-functional leadership teams; demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools to enhance daily workflows and problem-solving.
• Bonus: Prior experience in the technology or SaaS industry with understanding of SaaS business and finance processes; an AI-first mindset with demonstrated ability to architect, build, and implement end-to-end AI-enabled processes; demonstrated success in leading large-scale finance technology rationalization, system implementation projects, and collaborating with auditors.
