Executive Director in Training | Belmont Village Senior Living

The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-month leadership training program at Belmont Village Senior Living, requiring relocation upon completion within the US or Mexico City. Belmont Village Senior Living owns, manages, and operates luxury senior living communities, blending innovative, research-based programming with best-in-class care across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. This program offers a comprehensive pathway to launch a leadership career, providing the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as a Senior Living Executive Director or Assistant Executive Director. The role is designed to develop future leaders within the company.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person, Rotational (US & Mexico City)

• Team: Reports to an experienced Executive Director Preceptor and collaborates with a Program Administrator.
• Mission: Provide comprehensive training to develop future leaders capable of excelling as Senior Living Executive Directors or Assistant Executive Directors.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer troubleshooting, internet navigation, video conferencing

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Develop expertise in all facets of senior living community operations through hands-on experience.
• Training: Receive in-depth training covering regulatory compliance, customer service, employee relations, talent management, sales, care and service plan development, and operating budget management.
• Leadership: Represent Belmont Village’s mission and values, gradually increasing your responsibilities under a Preceptor’s guidance.
• Development: Participate in structured mentorship, on-the-job shadowing, self-paced online modules, and leadership assessments.
• Learning: Actively drive personal learning, seeking opportunities to apply new skills and fully utilize provided resources and guidance effectively.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate Degree required, with a minimum of 2 years prior management experience in senior living, hospitality, customer service, or healthcare.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years prior management experience in a closely related field. Proficiently use workplace technology including Microsoft Office Suite and rapidly learn new technological systems.
• Skills: Obtain a state administrator’s licensure by the end of the training program; Work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays; Communicate effectively in written and verbal English; Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degrees are preferred.
