Senior Executive Assistant | Keller Executive Search

The Tone:
This is a permanent position, predominantly onsite in Dublin, Ohio. The client is a rapidly expanding group in the data center, energy, and electrical equipment manufacturing sectors. This role is crucial for creating the structure that allows the CEO to focus on critical business decisions, serving as a trusted operational partner across multiple businesses, and establishing effective executive office rhythms. You will build a trusted support function from the ground up, making an immediate contribution in an exciting high-growth environment.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Permanent
• Location: Hybrid – Dublin, Ohio
• Pay: $100000–$120000 yearly
• Team: Reports directly to the CEO. No direct reports.
• Mission: Own the CEO’s calendar, communications, meeting preparation, priorities, and follow-through, creating the structure that allows him to focus on critical business decisions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Calendar Optimization: Own and optimize the CEO’s calendar across four companies, resolving conflicts and protecting time for strategic priorities.
• Gatekeeping & Communications: Manage meeting requests, act as a thoughtful gatekeeper, triage executive communications, and draft routine correspondence in the CEO’s voice.
• Meeting Preparation: Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and relevant context so the CEO is ready for each meeting.
• Follow-through & Liaison: Capture decisions and action items, coordinate follow-ups, drive commitments through completion, and serve as a liaison among stakeholders.
• System Building: Build practical systems for delegation, inbox management, meeting preparation, task tracking, and follow-through.

The Must-Haves
• Background: College degree or a strong equivalent combination of senior C-suite support experience and relevant education or certification.
• Experience: Direct, substantive experience supporting a CEO, President, founder, owner, or comparable C-suite principal, with demonstrated ownership of complex executive calendars, communications, meeting preparation, and follow-through.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organization and prioritization skills in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment, a proactive, independent working style, sound judgment, confident gatekeeping, and professional working proficiency in English.
• Bonus: Experience supporting an executive in a rapidly growing or founder-led organization, coordinating priorities across multiple companies or business units, success establishing an executive support function, or experience creating practical processes in an environment with evolving priorities.
