Event Marketing Operations Intern | Insta360
The Tone:
This is an internship at Insta360, located in Los Angeles, CA. Insta360 builds innovative cameras and consumer tech. This role is crucial for supporting the US Events Team by managing backend operations, ensuring smooth on-site execution, and coordinating effectively with global HQ, contributing to the overall success of brand activations. The intern will play a key role in maintaining organized processes and supporting event production from planning through post-event reporting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Workflows: Assist with internal event workflows, including approvals, documentation, and the development of standard operating procedures.
• Production Support: Coordinate with vendors, track assets, and plan logistics to support event production processes.
• Inventory Management: Manage product inventory, covering tracking, allocation, and write-offs across various events.
• Global Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams at China HQ, supporting governance processes, documentation, and reporting.
• Project Execution: Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple events, providing assistance in pre-event planning and occasional on-site execution support.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, with a high attention to detail.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools, and strong communication skills for collaborating with global teams.
• Bonus: Interest in event marketing, brand activations, or experiential marketing; familiarity with inventory management, logistics, or production workflows; passion for photography, cameras, or consumer tech; previous internship or experience in events, operations, or marketing; fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal); willingness to travel and support on-site events as needed.
