Entry-Level Technical Recruiter / Talent Associate | Stealth
The Tone:
This is a full-time Hybrid role at Stealth, located in San Jose, CA, requiring 4 days per week onsite. Stealth is a rapidly expanding recruiting firm dedicated to helping early-stage startups secure the pivotal talent that will shape their future companies. We work directly with founders and CEOs, utilizing a sourcing-first approach built for the speed and challenges inherent in startup hiring. This role is fundamental in identifying, engaging, and evaluating exceptional candidates, directly contributing to the growth and success of innovative companies. What You’ll Actually Do
• Talent Sourcing: Identify and source top talent for exciting startup clients using LinkedIn, various recruiting platforms, referrals, online communities, and creative outreach strategies.
• Candidate Engagement: Reach out to candidates through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and text messages, conducting introductory conversations and phone screens to assess initial fit.
• Candidate Evaluation: Take detailed notes during candidate interactions and contribute to evaluating their suitability for open roles based on client requirements.
• Client & Pipeline Management: Support multiple startup clients across engineering, product, sales, operations, and other business functions, while meticulously managing candidate pipelines and organizing information within recruiting systems.
• Process Contribution: Work directly with experienced recruiters, founders, and hiring managers, helping to improve existing recruiting processes and contributing new ideas as the company scales.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent college graduate or an individual with 0–1 years of professional experience in any field.
• Experience: 0–1 years of professional experience; a keen interest in startups, technology, entrepreneurship, or the recruiting industry.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities; resourceful and a self-starter who takes ownership and follows through; comfortable talking with new people, building relationships, curious, coachable, and eager to learn.
• Bonus: Internship experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, marketing, business development, or HR; demonstrated leadership experience through clubs, athletics, or student organizations; experience using LinkedIn or other professional networking platforms.
