• Mission: Owns the full lifecycle project accounting, including setup, financial performance review, invoicing, and collections, to ensure accurate financial management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Lifecycle Support: Support project financial management activities from initial setup through closeout, ensuring comprehensive oversight throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Financial Analysis: Maintain and analyze project budgets, costs, revenue, and profitability to inform critical financial decisions and support financial management.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor project financial performance, actively identifying and reporting variances between actual and budgeted results.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers to review current project status and assess potential financial risks.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Partner with the broader finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, adherence to company policies, and timely completion of month-end activities.
• Billing and Collections: Support monthly billing processes and collection efforts for an assigned portfolio of projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate degree or relevant coursework towards a bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting, or a similar program from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: 0-3 years of project administration experience is preferred, demonstrating an ability to perform multiple tasks under supervision and independently within a team environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables, and Microsoft Word. Strong organizational skills are essential to prioritize multiple assignments and successfully manage competing deadlines. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents such as financial statements, invoices, and payment records is required, along with the capacity to search for pertinent facts and data, analyze information, and form accurate conclusions. Candidates must be able to express conclusions and results in clear written and oral reports.
• Bonus: Familiarization with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle.
