What You’ll Actually Do
• Administer: Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring all compensation activities are completed promptly.
• Manage Data: Maintain comprehensive payroll records and update employee information within systems.
• Verify and Reconcile: Review employee timesheets, verify deductions and adjustments, and reconcile payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Support Employees and Compliance: Respond to employee payroll inquiries and assist with payroll tax documentation and reporting to ensure policy adherence.
• Collaborate and Assist: Coordinate regularly with HR and finance departments, support payroll audits, and contribute to special projects as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level role. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred for candidates interested in building a career in payroll, finance, accounting, or human resources.
• Experience: Candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in payroll, finance, accounting, administration, customer service, or other support roles.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential for processing payroll. Candidates must possess excellent organizational and time management skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities. Comfort working with numbers and confidential information, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, is also required. A professional, dependable, and results-oriented mindset is key.
• Bonus: Experience in administrative or office support roles is beneficial. Exposure to payroll or accounting processes, familiarity with payroll or HRIS software, and proficiency with Excel for data entry are all considered valuable.
