This Entry-Level Equipment Operator role is essential for supporting daily operations through the safe and efficient operation of various equipment and the execution of general labor tasks.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Safety Compliance: Follow all local, state, and federal regulations, alongside stringent company safety procedures, maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety in all tasks.
• Operational Support: Support daily operations through hands-on general labor, including the use of hand tools to assist with trench digging and site leveling, as well as manually loading and unloading trucks.
• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy equipment in strict accordance with company standards and established safety guidelines, understanding that equipment operation will develop as part of the role.
• Skill Development: Actively train on a diverse range of equipment to continuously build and enhance your skills and operational experience, preparing for increased responsibilities.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure proper functionality, maintain accurate records of equipment checks and performance, conduct preventative maintenance, clean equipment regularly to preserve longevity, and execute minor repairs while reporting major issues promptly.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with a strong work ethic and inherent reliability.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with heavy equipment, along with the possession of a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
• Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of the proper operation of heavy equipment and adherence to safety standards, the ability to maintain, inspect, clean, and occasionally repair heavy equipment, and a keen attention to detail with strong situational awareness to uphold a safe work environment.
• Bonus: Prior demolition experience, excavating experience, or Doubles and Triples endorsements for the CDL are highly preferred.
