Entry Level Environmental Scientist | ERG

The selected candidate will provide essential project support across various technical projects for diverse clients.
The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Technical Support: Provide technical support for ERG’s water-related projects.
• Data & Research: Assist with research, data collection, analysis, and engagement related to drinking water and water quality management, regulations, and associated topics.
• Deliverable Preparation: Support the preparation of products for both technical and non-technical audiences, alongside other project deliverables.
• Environmental Planning: Support environmental planning reviews for proposed infrastructure projects, including Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Categorical Exclusion (CATEX) reviews pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
• Regulatory & Collaboration: Contribute to regulatory compliance, provide technical assistance, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support client objectives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related discipline.
• Experience: 0-3 years of relevant academic or professional experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong time management skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines; ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bonus: Academic coursework or research relevant to the water sector and a basic understanding of environmental regulations.
