What You’ll Actually Do
• Clinical Assistance: Provide direct assistance to doctors during a wide variety of dental treatment procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.
• Operatory Management: Efficiently set up the operatory room before treatments and thoroughly break it down and prepare it after patient appointments.
• Infection Control: Implement and manage strict infection control protocols, including the meticulous preparation and sterilization of all dental instruments and equipment.
• Patient Documentation: Support doctors by accurately assisting with patient charting and maintaining essential patient records.
• Administrative Support: Undertake various necessary office tasks to ensure the seamless day-to-day operation of the dental practice.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with all other members of the dental team to consistently deliver exceptional patient care experiences.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent. This foundational education prepares candidates for entry into the dental assisting profession.
• Experience: An essential requirement is the ability to successfully obtain radiology and safety certification within the specified timeframe as dictated by the state of practice. No prior dental assisting experience is required for this entry-level role.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical, enabling the ability to build effective rapport with patients from all age groups and diverse backgrounds.
