What You’ll Actually Do
• Perform calculations: Accurately perform fundamental engineering calculations and develop comprehensive cost estimates that support project feasibility and budgeting.
• Prepare drawings: Skillfully prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and other essential drafting documents using relevant software.
• Develop plans: Actively assist in the development of project plans and the preparation of thorough reports, contributing to effective project documentation and communication.
• Collect data: Support project initiation and progression by assisting in the collection of necessary field data and conducting crucial research into existing utility records.
• Support design: Provide valuable assistance in the overall design process, aid in the production of project deliverables, and manage miscellaneous organizational work to ensure smooth project execution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering, positioning candidates at an early career professional level.
• Experience: Requires 0-3 years of relevant industry experience; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a mandatory qualification.
• Skills: Possess a good working knowledge and proficiency with industry-standard software including Microstation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D; demonstrate excellent oral communication skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder interaction; exhibit excellent written communication skills for clear documentation and report preparation.
