The Tone:
This is an internship at a company that produces live entertainment. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Entertainment Production team, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience coordinating all technical and guest-facing aspects of live entertainment productions. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless execution of our shows, maintaining a guest-first mentality, and providing essential support to our production staff.

• Mission: Ensure the seamless, guest-first execution of live entertainment productions by coordinating all technical and guest-facing aspects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee Production Execution: Coordinate all technical and guest aspects of live entertainment productions, ensuring every show begins precisely on time by consistently upholding a “guest first” mentality to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Enhance Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement operational procedures designed to enhance the efficiency and smooth operation of the production area, acting as a vital resource for the entire production team by offering essential support and guidance.
• Lead and Supervise Teams: Work actively within the assigned production area, providing hands-on support, and taking responsibility for motivating and inspiring a work crew. This includes understanding all supervised job responsibilities, developing staff work schedules, and providing performance coaching, counseling, and training.
• Ensure Show Integrity and Safety: Monitor and ensure that all show elements are meticulously maintained and executed safely, adhering strictly to character costume and Meet & Greets guidelines set by Warner Bros. and the Six Flags Production Team. This also involves navigating scenic elements in potentially dark and restrictive spaces.
• Maintain Compliance and Documentation: Accurately and promptly complete all required departmental and park-related paperwork. You will also adhere to and rigorously enforce all park policies and procedures as outlined in the Seasonal Handbook and Department Standard Operating Procedure Manual.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional, either a current undergraduate student or recent graduate, seeking hands-on experience in live entertainment production coordination. Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age and possess the ability to navigate potentially dark and restrictive scenic elements often associated with specific productions.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required, but applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to think quickly in high-pressure situations, along with prior experience providing hands-on support in a team environment.
• Skills: Strong professional attributes including self-motivation, an enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to effectively multi-task; excellent teamwork and collaborative abilities; proficient in developing and maintaining work schedules; capable of monitoring performance and providing constructive feedback; and must possess a valid Driver’s License.
