Job Title: Entertainment Production Coordinator (Internship)
About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting internship opportunity for current undergraduate students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in live entertainment production. As an Entertainment Production Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of all technical and guest-facing aspects of our live shows.
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Overview of the Role:
The Entertainment Production Coordinator is responsible for orchestrating both the technical and guest experience components of live entertainment productions. This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead a team, ensure operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of safety and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Work collaboratively as a valued member of the area team.
- Effectively communicate, think quickly under pressure, and motivate a diverse work crew.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the job responsibilities for all positions directly supervised.
- Develop and meticulously maintain work schedules for all assigned staff.
- Monitor team member performance, providing coaching, counseling, and both disciplinary and commendable action as needed to foster continuous improvement.
- Hold regular crew meetings to disseminate park/department information and convey feedback from Department Management.
- Train new personnel as required to ensure proficiency and adherence to standards.
- Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure the area operates properly and efficiently.
- Maintain a “guest first” mentality, prioritizing all shows starting promptly as scheduled.
- Ensure all show elements are well-maintained and executed safely, immediately reporting any unsafe acts to Entertainment Management.
- Serve as a valuable resource and point of contact for the team.
- Work within other department venues and units as operational needs dictate.
- Complete all departmental and park-related paperwork accurately and on time.
- Brand & Show Integrity:
- Ensure all Character performers’ costumes and Meet & Greets strictly adhere to the guidelines established by Warner Bros. and the Six Flags Production Team.
- Navigate safely in, on, or around scenic elements associated with specific productions, often in potentially dark and restrictive spaces.
- Departmental Support & Development:
- Adhere to and enforce all park policies and procedures outlined in the Seasonal Handbook and the Department Standard Operating Procedure Manual.
- Work closely with Entertainment Management, assisting and shadowing in various other aspects within the Entertainment Department to broaden your experience.
- Complete all projects as assigned by Entertainment Management.
Qualifications:
- Age Requirement: Minimum 18 years of age.
- Availability: Shifts are flexible and dependent upon specific show needs.
- Licensure: Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand/walk for the entire duration of a shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
