US Business Graduate | Novo Nordisk

The Tone:
This is a full-time graduate program at Novo Nordisk, US-based with international travel. This role is crucial for strengthening the talent pipeline by attracting and developing recent post-graduate talents who are poised to grow into managing leaders throughout the organization, enabling business success through a strategic workforce.

• Team: Reports to a program manager/director within Talent Management, US Operations (USO) Employee Experience, with a host manager appointed by the specific department for daily guidance. Interacts across the commercial ecosystem.
• Mission: Attract, recruit, and develop high-potential post-graduate talents to become future managing leaders within Novo Nordisk’s commercial organization.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Rotations: Complete three structured rotations in 2 years, including one global assignment, each lasting 6-8 months, across commercial functions like Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, and Sales.
• Drive Projects: Participate in and take responsibility for specific elements of daily departmental projects, contributing to well-reasoned solutions for complex challenges within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Develop Capabilities: Gain an in-depth understanding of the international pharmaceutical company environment, acquiring necessary professional and personal skills for future full-time employment and leadership.
• Enhance Program: Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the US Operations Graduate Program, fostering knowledge sharing among current graduates from various program tracks.
• Cultivate Network: Plan and engage in graduate activities such as site visits and ‘meet the customers’ events, building a strong professional network and embodying Novo Nordisk’s core values.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s Degree, Pharm D, or higher in a relevant commercial field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Finance, Data/Analytics).
• Experience: No more than 12-18 months post-graduate from the program and 1-2 years of relevant work experience required at the time of application.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); documented GPA of 3.5 or higher; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt to change; team player attitude; driven and eager to learn.
• Bonus: Ability to approach tasks and situations with a global mindset; demonstrates optimism and resilience; exhibits strong situational self-awareness; possesses a high degree of curiosity; shows a commitment to continuous learning; embraces ambiguity and change with a growth mindset.
