The Tone:
This is a full-time role at English 1, located in China. English 1 is a well-established educational organization with over 30 years of success in China, operating 200+ schools across 50+ cities, and also has a strong presence in Indonesia. • Mission: Help young learners aged 3–16 develop English skills and confidence through interactive lessons and cultural engagement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Teach: Deliver English lessons to young learners aged 3–16 in a fun, interactive, and immersive classroom setting.
• Deliver: Facilitate high-energy lessons utilizing English 1’s award-winning curriculum and provided digital tools.
• Provide: Offer constructive feedback to students to support their progress and build confidence in their English language abilities.
• Participate: Engage in various school events, cultural activities, and student engagement programs to foster a vibrant learning environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a bachelor’s degree in any subject, making this an ideal opportunity for recent graduates, individuals exploring a career change, or those seeking their first professional job.
• Experience: No prior teaching experience is required, as English 1 provides comprehensive induction training, ongoing support, and fully prepared teaching materials to equip new teachers for success.
• Skills: Possess a valid passport and demonstrate a genuine interest in education, international travel, and fostering cultural exchange.
• Bonus: ESL certification such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA is considered a plus; however, English 1 can sponsor this certification for successful candidates. A clean background check is also required.
