Energy Storage Mechanical Co-Op | Westinghouse

What You’ll Actually Do
• Mechanical Systems: Support the development and analysis of mechanical systems and components for energy storage solutions.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and update technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and calculation notes.
• Project Support: Support ongoing projects by developing engineering documentation and scopes of work for procurements and subcontracts.
• Research: Research new technologies and manufacturing processes to enhance system development.
• Problem Solving: Solve technical engineering problems in collaboration with the engineering team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, having completed Sophomore year, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: Previous internship or project experience in mechanical engineering.
• Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
