• Mission: To apply classroom learning to real-world financial projects and reporting, supporting accounting and finance teams through research, analysis, and direct collaboration.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough research and detailed analysis of financial data, applying findings to ongoing accounting projects, essential reporting, and identifying significant trends and variances.
• Process Support: Provide critical assistance with financial forecasting, contribute to regular financial reporting requirements, and support the optimization of various accounting processes within the department.
• Document Preparation: Support the comprehensive preparation of key financial statements, execute precise reconciliations, and develop necessary financial schedules for review.
• Report Review: Aid in the timely and accurate preparation, as well as the thorough review, of financial reports to ensure compliance and integrity.
• Project Collaboration: Engage actively and collaborate effectively with both the Accounting and Finance teams on a variety of special projects, fostering cross-functional learning and contributions.
• Program Engagement: Fully participate in the Embark 2027 Summer Internship Program’s structured activities, including professional development workshops, community service events, executive networking sessions, and team-building connected culture activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for students seeking to obtain a degree in Information Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline.
• Experience: No previous work experience is required.
• Skills: A minimum GPA of 3.0; strong written and verbal communication skills; highly motivated, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented work ethic; ability to be a quick learner and work with new computer-based programs and databases; capability to be effective and contribute within a corporate environment.
