What You’ll Actually Do
• Circuit Design Support: Assist engineers in creating circuit boards, schematics, and application designs for semiconductor integrated circuits and devices.
• PCB Development: Develop and test application schematics and printed circuit boards.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and test application boards for proper functionality.
• Test Reports: Write detailed test reports based on experiments and findings.
• Data Collection Automation: Support test automation programs, collect, extract, and analyze data related to circuit performance.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, with coursework in circuit theory, basic electronic designs, power electronics, device physics, and control systems.
• Experience: Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and source meters, coupled with practical knowledge of PCB development and familiarity with layout tools like Altium.
• Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like LabView, Python, or JavaScript for automation and testing, understanding of simulation software including MATLAB, PSPICE, and PLECS for analysis, and highly organized with strong communication and presentation abilities.
