• Mission: This engineer will design, analyze, and review medium and low voltage power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems for municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Tech Stack: E-Tap/SKM Tools, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Function as Designer/Project Engineer on projects involving medium and low voltage power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems for Municipal Water and Wastewater facilities and Industrial Projects.
• Analyze: Perform system calculations and studies for electrical power systems, including load flows, voltage drops, and short circuit/coordination studies using electrical analytical software.
• Develop: Develop design details for electrical power distribution system (480V level), lighting system, and control system for major industrial facilities.
• Coordinate: Coordinate with CAD Drafters to create new or modify existing drawings for electrical designs.
• Assess: Perform field investigation and condition assessment of electrical power distribution and control equipment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• Experience: 1+ years of design and engineering experience for industrial or large complex commercial projects.
• Skills: Proven expertise in power system design, electrical schematics, and system analysis; proficiency in industry-relevant software like E-Tap/SKM Tools for load flows, voltage drops, short circuit/coordination studies; working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Bonus: Water/Wastewater industry experience; working knowledge of standards and codes pertaining to electrical distribution and control systems; preliminary knowledge of instrumentation devices (level/pressure/temp/flow); Bilingual (English/Spanish); Professional Engineer (PE) license or commitment to obtaining one.
