AI Solutions Financial Analyst | Intel
The Tone:
This is a hybrid, early-career role at Intel, primarily located in Folsom, CA, with additional locations in Santa Clara, CA, and Hillsboro, OR. Intel’s Finance Group drives strategic business decisions that enhance shareholder value, facilitating change and managing acquisitions while serving as trusted advisors to executive leadership. This role is crucial for building the practical application of AI in real finance work, directly impacting revenue and pricing decisions, and shaping the future of finance operations within Intel’s largest business unit, the Client Computing Group.

• Team: Revenue and Pricing Finance organization supporting Client Computing Group; reports directly to the Director of Revenue and Pricing Finance.
• Mission: Improve speed, decision quality, and execution in finance through data, automation, and AI, connecting data, streamlining manual work, and building usable solutions.
• Tech Stack: Python, SQL, LLMs/AI tools (prompt-based, agent-based methods), Copilot, Claude
What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Connect and structure data from multiple sources so it can be used reliably for analysis, automation, and decision support.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze revenue, pricing, and financial data to help teams make better business decisions.
• Deliverable Ownership: Own key deliverables such as pricing and mix analysis to support weekly revenue updates and quarterly revenue sale plan development.
• AI Solution Development: Build AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual work and improve recurring finance processes.
• Model Creation: Develop decision support models that help leaders evaluate scenarios, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. This role is suitable for an early-career professional with internships, applied academic work, or up to a couple of years of relevant experience.
• Experience: Hands-on use of LLMs/AI tools for analysis, summarization, or workflow automation. Experience with AI Enterprise tools, Python and/or SQL.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, and an interest in using AI and data to solve real business problems.
• Bonus: 6 months to 2 years of relevant work experience in analytics, finance, automation, or AI-related work. Exposure to prompt engineering, RAG, or agent-based AI approaches. Exposure to corporate financial statements, financial analysis, and basic modeling. Familiarity with common finance decision frameworks such as NPV and ROI. Experience with tools such as Copilot or Claude or custom solutions is a plus.
