About the Role:
This full-time position within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics involves developing requirements for suppliers to design complex, software-intensive avionics subsystems for the C-5M Galaxy and/or C-130J Hercules aircraft platforms. You will be responsible for managing the development, testing, and integration of these subsystems into the aircraft’s avionics system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop requirements for suppliers designing complex avionics subsystems.
• Manage the development of these subsystems.
• Test and integrate the subsystems into the aircraft’s avionics system.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.
• Experience using a Digital Voltage Multimeter, O-Scope and/or analyzer to troubleshoot or characterize electrical circuits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for generating specifications, test reports, and delivering presentations.
• Must be a US Citizen (position requires a government security clearance).
Desired Skills:
• Experience developing test procedures, testing, and integrating avionics in a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of Mil-Std-1553B, Ethernet, and/or ARINC 429 interfaces.
• Experience using MATLAB/Simulink and/or PSPICE.
Security Clearance:
• This position requires a government security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• Clearance Level: Secret
