What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and develop advanced autonomous subsea systems and vehicles for maritime platforms.
• Advance the intelligence and capabilities of existing maritime systems through innovative mechanical designs.
• Contribute as an integral member of a cross-functional team to deliver cutting-edge solutions to customers.
• Support the mission of delivering innovative solutions by creating designs from conception to production.
• Gain hands-on experience by assembling prototype systems during the development process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
• Experience: Demonstrated Mechanical Engineering Design expertise; hands-on experience assembling prototype systems.
• Skills: Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill Software; working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Bonus: Engineering background in the Undersea Domain; knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUV) technologies, principles, theories, and concepts; a creative thinker ready to design and develop innovative solutions from conception to production; a commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
