Job Description: Early Career Cyber Software Engineer
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Cyber Software Engineer. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying innovative software solutions with real-world impact. The work utilizes cutting-edge technologies, requiring analysis of user needs, creation of robust software designs, and implementation of new features. Responsibilities include debugging and refining existing code, optimizing software development processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Continuous improvement is key, with the expectation of identifying areas for enhancement and implementing creative solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems. Experience and/or knowledge of software development in C, reverse engineering, and assembly development is required.
Basic Qualifications:
• Active US security clearance with a polygraph is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or network engineering from an accredited college.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• This position is located at a facility requiring special access.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Computer Science, Information Systems, or Network Engineering.
• 2 years of experience with Windows, Linux, or network programming.
• Ability to install and configure antivirus and spyware.
• Ability to design, write, and execute software test plans.
• Certifications in MCSE, RHCE, CEH, or CCNA.
