What You’ll Actually Do
• Evaluate: Assess systems and designs to determine their cybersecurity characteristics and posture.
• Harden: Conduct system configuration hardening activities, such as applying DISA STIGs to enhance security.
• Identify: Perform cybersecurity testing and risk analysis at both the system and component levels.
• Communicate: Clearly present the results of cybersecurity assessments and analyses to relevant stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Experience: General understanding of system and component functionality, familiarity with cybersecurity requirements, and experience in a testing environment.
• Skills: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance, with an existing TS/SCI clearance level preferred.
• Bonus: Experience with Windows or Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu), scripting skills (e.g., Python, shell/bash, PowerShell), knowledge of Risk Management as it relates to cybersecurity, or DoD 8140.01/8570.01-M IAT I or IAT II certification (e.g., Security +).
