Early Career Cyber Security Engineer (DoD Program)
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Early Career Cyber Security Engineer for a DoD Program located in King of Prussia, PA.
In This Role, You Will:
- Evaluate systems and designs to determine cybersecurity characteristics.
- Conduct system configuration hardening (e.g., DISA STIGs).
- Identify and conduct cybersecurity testing and risk analysis at the system and component level.
- Communicate assessment results.
The Successful Candidate Will Have Experience And/or Knowledge Of:
- General understanding of system and component functionality.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience in a testing environment.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
- General understanding of system and component functionality.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Windows or Linux (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu).
- Scripting (e.g., Python, shell/bash, PowerShell).
- Risk Management as it relates to cybersecurity.
- DoD 8140.01/8570.01-M IAT I or IAT II certification (e.g., Security +).
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI

- Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.
- Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off.
