Job Description: 12-Week Paid E-commerce Website Internship
This is a 12-week paid internship offering hands-on experience in the fast-paced telecommunications industry. Interns will contribute to the enhancement of T-Mobile’s e-commerce websites. The opportunity provides exposure to real-world web development practices and allows interns to make an immediate impact on impactful projects.
What You’ll Do:
Interns will work on several key areas:
• Web Design & Development: Assisting in the design, coding, and maintenance of websites, including front-end and back-end development tasks. This includes writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, performing unit testing, and debugging to ensure quality.
• Content Updates: Implementing updates to web content, images, and multimedia to keep the site current and user-friendly.
• Website Optimization: Improving site speed and ensuring compatibility across various mobile devices and browsers.
The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing exposure to web development, digital marketing strategies, and data analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Familiarity with web development languages
• Familiarity with API development in NodeJs or related technologies
• Responsive Design Knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving and debugging skills
• Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must have graduated within the last 12 months OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program.
• Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible.
• Employer does not sponsor work visas.
• Relocation assistance may be provided to those residing more than 50 miles from the internship location.
• Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour, based on experience/location.
