The TikTok Shop US operation team is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and a unique customer experience through TikTok. They are responsible for building the TikTok E-commerce partnership for the US business, leveraging TikTok’s over 1 billion loyal users to create an innovative, secure, and intuitive e-commerce ecosystem. The team is entrepreneurial, passionate about shaping the future of shopping, and focuses on scaling the “TikTokMadeMeBuyIt” phenomenon, pioneering Content & Creator commerce in the US by making TikTok the leading, on-trend commerce platform for brands, creators, and shoppers.

Job Description (Internship)

This is an internship opportunity for 2026 within the TikTok Shop US operation team, specifically focused on Content & Creator commerce. Internships at TikTok are designed to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience, enabling them to develop fundamental skills and explore potential career paths. The program runs for 12 weeks and includes a vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops to foster personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

Acquiring and incubating merchants to support overall category growth within TikTok Shop.
Discovering innovative collaborative models that align with merchants’ short-term and long-term development plans, and investing platform resources effectively and efficiently.
Solving key challenges in business growth through strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Employing a consultative approach by offering strategic content, creator/affiliate/agency partner, merchandising, and logistical solutions to all clients.
Updating clients on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications required are:

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s Degree.
• Ability to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer Fall 2026.
• Must be a quick learner, proactive, and resilient, demonstrating an ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
• Possession of structured thinking, good data sense, and very strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills, adept at moving initiatives forward.
• A strong passion for business and an aim for higher goals.

Preferred Qualifications include:

• Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to the degree program after the completion of the internship.
• Internship or full-time experience in an e-commerce marketplace business or retail category management is a plus.
• Familiarity with the TikTok content ecosystem, shoppable content, and brand-creator partnerships is a plus.

Application and Compensation Details:

The hourly rate for this Campus Intern position in the selected city is $25- $25. Interns receive day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and more. They also get 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 if hired in the second half). Interns not working 100% remote may also be eligible for a housing allowance.
