DV Intern with verification | Etched
The Tone:
Etched builds AI inference systems for transformers, aiming for over 10x higher performance than GPUs. As a Design Verification Intern, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure custom IPs are robust, high-performance, and silicon-ready. This work enables new products like real-time video generation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• IP Assurance: Ensure custom IPs like systolic arrays, DMA engines, and NoCs are robust, high-performance, and silicon-ready.
• Problem Solving: Tackle complex verification challenges with creativity and deep technical ability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and SW/FW/emulation teams.
• System Validation: Validate correctness and performance across the full hardware-software stack.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Progress towards a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field, with familiarity in high-speed digital logic and ASIC/SoC design.
• Experience: Familiarity with verification work and writing test benches, potentially with UVM or formal verification experience.
• Skills: Familiarity with SystemVerilog, UVM, or Python, and physical design flows and tooling.
