The Tone:
This is a Driver role that is integral to the company’s daily operations. The position focuses on safely and efficiently delivering automotive parts to professional customers. This role is crucial for ensuring timely parts accessibility, fostering strong customer relationships, and contributing to the overall sales and operational efficiency of the store. It directly impacts customer satisfaction and supports the company’s market presence.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Mission: Safely deliver automotive parts, maintain strong customer relationships, and support store operations to drive customer satisfaction and sales growth.
• Tech Stack: delivery board system, inventory systems (Back stock)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliveries: Safely pick, stage, and deliver parts to professional customers, meticulously managing the delivery process to ensure accuracy and timeliness. This also includes the efficient pickup of customer returns and cores.
• Customer Relations: Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, collecting daily credit accounts and providing the CPP with valuable insights gained during deliveries.
• Sales Support: Actively promote current sales and loyalty programs by dropping off weekly/monthly sales flyers and assisting in upselling and cross-selling products to increase the average transaction value per customer.
• Store Operations: Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including cleaning floors, bathrooms, facing products, dusting, and maintaining the parking lot. Perform general stocking duties such as truck stocking, back stock management, and conducting regular cycle counts.
• Customer Engagement: Engage effectively with walk-in customers, understanding their specific needs, and recommending appropriate parts or services by leveraging knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, laying a foundational understanding for an early career path focused on automotive customer service and logistics.
• Experience: Required to have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, demonstrating a commitment to safe operation of company vehicles.
• Skills: Exhibit safe driving and navigation ability, friendly and persuasive communication skills to build strong customer relationships, and proficiency in basic math for accurate transactions. Must also be capable of using the delivery board system and operating inventory systems like Back stock.
• Bonus: Prior automotive parts experience is highly preferred for a deeper understanding of products, and the ability to speak Spanish is considered a valuable asset for broader customer engagement.
