DoD Skillbridge Internship for Transitioning Military Service Members | SciTec

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Science: Perform data science and analysis tasks to support various projects and initiatives.
• Algorithm Development: Contribute to the development of algorithms for advanced technologies.
• Software Development: Participate in software development efforts, building and refining tools.
• Project Accounting: Manage project accounting and controls, ensuring financial oversight.
• Systems Administration: Administer Linux systems, providing support and maintenance (available at the Boulder office only).
The Must-Haves
• Background: This opportunity is specifically for transitioning military service members who are qualified for the DoD Skillbridge program.
• Experience: Candidates must meet all DoD Skillbridge qualifications as outlined in DODI 1322.29 and obtain Command Approval from an O-4 or above. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to multi-task effectively, communicate clearly, collaborate productively in a team setting, and efficiently handle assignments independently.
• Skills: Requirements include strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills, along with a demonstrated commitment to attention to detail in all tasks.
• Clearance: Applicants must either hold a current active DoD SECRET security clearance or possess the immediate ability to obtain one prior to the internship.
