As a Dispatcher – Fuel Operations at World Fuel, you will be at the heart of our 24/7/365 fuel delivery operation in Kansas City. This role involves a rotation schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, followed by 3 days on. As a global leader in energy solutions, we are looking for someone organized, who thrives under pressure, and enjoys problem-solving to coordinate drivers, manage schedules, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan & Dispatch Deliveries: Create and manage daily fuel delivery schedules to maximize efficiency.
• Driver Coordination: Communicate effectively with drivers to confirm load requirements and ensure timely deliveries.
• Optimize Supply: Collaborate with our Supply team to select optimal lift points and suppliers for revenue maximization.
• Customer Service: Professionally handle incoming calls, providing quick and effective solutions to customer inquiries and issues.
• Incident Reporting: Promptly document accidents or spills in strict compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records and assist with document preparation for internal teams.
• Problem-Solving: Make fast, informed decisions to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Additional Support: Undertake ad hoc tasks as needed to support overall operational goals.

Preferred:

• Relevant Experience: Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation.
• Industry Familiarity: Knowledge of fuel or energy industry operations.
