Job Summary

The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen. This position is responsible for performing a variety of essential kitchen cleaning and storage tasks, including dishwashing, pot washing, and general equipment cleaning. You will also manage the proper storage and rotation of food and supplies, ensuring strict adherence to all sanitary procedures and standards, as well as federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines concerning food handling and preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including but not limited to dishwashing and pot washing.
  • Execute general and equipment cleaning tasks to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Properly store and rotate food and supplies according to established procedures.
  • Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in strict accordance with sanitary procedures and standards.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant environment.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exhibit good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
