The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Outfield Healthcare Partners, involving travel across Texas, New Mexico, and Missouri. This position is critical for administering and managing Nursing Services, ensuring residents receive quality care according to physician orders and regulatory standards. The role involves 24-hour supervision of the Nursing Department and, in the Administrator’s absence, takes on responsibility for overall center operations. This role directly impacts resident well-being and regulatory compliance across multiple locations.

• Mission: Owns the administration and management of Nursing Services to ensure quality standards of care and compliance with current Federal, State, and Company regulations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administration: Administer and manage all Nursing Services for residents in accordance with physician orders and their total needs.
• Supervision: Provide 24-hour supervision and direct the Nursing Department to maintain high-quality care standards and regulatory compliance.
• Coordination: Assume ultimate responsibility for coordinating total care plans for each resident, ensuring compliance with orders, regulations, and facility policies.
• Communication: Communicate and interpret policies and procedures to nursing staff, actively monitoring their practices and implementation.
• Operations: Participate in all admissions decisions, including visiting prospective residents, and assume responsibility for center operations in the Administrator’s absence.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state practiced, with an Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of nursing supervisory experience is required.
• Skills: Nursing Services administration, regulatory compliance, care plan coordination, staff supervision and direction, and application of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Bonus: Five years of experience in long-term or acute health care is preferred.
