What You’ll Actually Do
• Architect: Lead the design and evolution of MUFG’s enterprise AI platform, including LLM gateways, model routing, agent runtime, and observability, to support diverse AI consumption models.
• Engineer: Serve as a hands-on technical leader, guiding engineering decisions, developing prototypes, and establishing production-grade engineering patterns for reusable AI platform components.
• Govern: Embed governance, risk, security, privacy, and auditability into AI platform architecture by defining technical control patterns and collaborating with risk partners.
• Integrate: Architect AI solutions leveraging trusted enterprise data, metadata, documents, and knowledge layers to enhance relevance and business utility.
• Direct: Create and maintain architecture roadmaps for enterprise AI capabilities, advise on build-versus-buy decisions, and evaluate emerging AI technologies to establish technical principles.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, serving as a Director-level technical leader in enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience: 15+ years in enterprise software engineering, platform engineering, or architecture, with hands-on experience architecting and delivering production-grade AI, GenAI, LLM, or enterprise platform capabilities.
• Skills: Enterprise AI platform design (LLM gateways, RAG, agentic workflows, observability), cloud-native architecture (APIs, microservices, Kubernetes, CI/CD), and enterprise data architecture (governance, metadata, integration, access control).
• Bonus: Familiarity with GenAI frameworks like LangChain or PyTorch, experience with model providers such as OpenAI or AWS Bedrock, and proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python.
