Job Description
This is a Digital Technology Intern position at GE Aerospace, offering a dynamic and challenging opportunity to gain experience in a leading aerospace company.
Job Summary:
As a Digital Technology intern, you will have the chance to learn directly from industry leaders and contribute to impactful projects that are tailored to current business needs. The internship emphasizes professional growth through:

This internship is designed to be a potential pathway to a full-time position upon graduation, either within the Digital Technology Leadership Program or as a direct hire opportunity.
Essential Responsibilities:
The role promises meaningful and impactful work. Interns are considered a vital pipeline for future full-time employment at GE Aerospace. The summer internship experience includes a vibrant calendar of events such as:

Interns are assigned to specific areas of the business based on position availability, interviewer assessments, and applicant preferences. Potential focus areas for assignments include, but are not limited to:
• Digital Platforms
• Full Stack Development

• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
Qualifications/Requirements:
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Education: Currently enrolled in an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university or a credentialed software accelerator program.
• Major Focus: Degree concentration in relevant STEM fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, IT Security, Informatics, Information Science/Technology, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Security and Risk Analysis, or other STEM majors with demonstrated Software/IT experience.
• GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (without rounding).
• Location & Transportation: Willingness to work in either Cincinnati, OH, or Livonia, MI, and possess reliable transportation, as some sites may not have public transportation available.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Background Check & Drug Screen: Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
• Work Authorization: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory. GE Aerospace will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this specific job opening.
• Export Control: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, for applicants who are not U.S. Citizens, asylees, refugees, or lawful permanent residents (i.e., not a “U.S. Person” under the Immigration and Naturalization Act), final offers will be contingent on their ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
