The Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Team

Join our Business Transformation Digital Solutions team, where you will assist clients with critical business transformations by leveraging large-scale digital solutions. This includes prominent platforms such as SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Workday, as well as Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools and other essential business applications. You’ll utilize innovative solutions to help clients assess and manage risk and controls throughout their transformation journey, focusing on ERP security, business process, and IT General Controls (ITGCs), while educating clients on leading practices.

The Opportunity: Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Intern

As a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Intern, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, actively supporting teams in delivering cutting-edge digital assurance services. This is a prime opportunity to gain exposure to PwC’s robust methodologies, observe and participate in projects, and develop foundational skills in the audit and assurance landscape. Responsibilities

  • Supporting audit and assurance teams in digital assurance projects.
  • Participating in the evaluation of IT controls and governance frameworks.
  • Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies and compliance standards.
  • Engaging in process reviews to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with teams to conduct data quality assessments and validation.
  • Utilizing cloud engineering principles to enhance audit processes.
  • Contributing to cybersecurity risk management and governance strategies.
  • Applying artificial intelligence platforms to streamline assurance tasks.
  • Observing and learning from client support activities within the assurance sector.
  • Analyzing information security governance frameworks for compliance.
  • Conducting compliance auditing to align with regulatory guidelines.
  • Gathering feedback and actively listening to improve communication skills.
  • Exploring operational risk management techniques to mitigate potential risks.
  • Participating in testing methodologies to validate data quality assurance.
  • Assisting in the development of internal controls for accurate reporting and compliance.

What You Must Have

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology.
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
  • Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student’s final year of school, and summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student’s final year of school.

What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA.
  • Demonstrated interest in learning auditing methodologies and compliance standards.
  • Experience or interest in supporting governance and risk management initiatives.
  • Participation in data quality assurance testing and validation.
  • Experience observing IT controls and internal governance frameworks.
  • Developing skills in or curiosity about AI platforms.
