As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in organizing disparate data sources and building advanced technology solutions to support vital missions, including fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Solutions: Construct advanced technology solutions.
• Activities: Execute data engineering activities on some of the industry’s most mission-critical projects.
• Development: Develop and deploy essential data pipelines and platforms required to organize and imbue disparate data with meaningful context.
• Support: Actively support the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable data platforms for clients.
• Growth: Enhance your skills in analytical exploration and data examination.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience. Junior-level professional with core knowledge of data engineering concepts, including data collection, storage, processing, cleaning, or transforming.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience with data engineering concepts (data collection, storage, processing, cleaning, or transforming) with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 7+ years of experience with data engineering concepts (data collection, storage, processing, cleaning, or transforming) in lieu of a degree.
• Skills: Knowledge of AWS cloud services; ability to independently research and propose solutions to challenges; Top Secret clearance.
• Bonus: TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph; Master’s degree; AWS Cloud Certifications; AWS Certified Data Engineer Certification; Python Certifications.
