The Tone:
This is a full-time Senior Associate role at KeyBanc Capital Markets, located in a hybrid capacity in Brooklyn, OH. KeyBanc is a leading financial institution that delivers capital markets solutions. This role is crucial for the Wealth organization, translating data into meaningful insights to drive operational efficiency, risk management, and growth. The Senior Associate will enable informed business decisions, address performance gaps, and contribute to the evolution of analytics and AI capabilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis & Reporting: Independently deliver moderate to complex analyses and reports that inform Wealth strategy, performance management, and client insights.
• Data Strategy & Enhancement: Support the development and enhancement of trusted data assets and analytic marts used by the Wealth organization.
• Data Quality & Governance: Contribute to enterprise data quality efforts, including testing, validation, documentation, and the application of policies and standards.
• Communication & Consulting: Translate business needs into technical requirements, provide consulting on data usage, and deliver clear presentations and visualizations.
• Project Leadership & Mentorship: Drive the execution of initiatives by coordinating cross-functional inputs, managing deliverables, and providing mentorship to junior team members.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data product management. Proficient in working with Google Cloud Platforms. Experience with enterprise data environments and federated analytics models.
• Skills: Utilize advanced skills in SQL to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from databases; Design and develop dimensional data models for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases; Develop automated data pipelines and validation to maintain foundational data assets; Create clear and effective visual representations of data to communicate insights; Translate complex technical topics into business-friendly language.
• Bonus: Training or certification in SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, BigQuery, or other Google Cloud Platform tools; Familiarity with data governance, data cataloging, and data lineage tools.
