About the Role:

This part-time position at Walmart #1979 focuses on creating a positive customer experience and ensuring store security at the entrances. As a Customer Host / Loss Prevention Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming customers as they enter and exit the store.
  • Assisting customers with their needs, questions, and directions.
  • Thanking customers for their patronage.
  • Verifying purchases against receipts to prevent loss.
  • Assisting with returned items, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Monitoring store entrances to deter theft and maintain security.
  • Contributing to a safe and secure shopping environment for all customers and associates.

Compensation & Benefits:

Walmart offers a competitive compensation package and a comprehensive suite of benefits for both part-time and full-time associates.

Hourly Wage:

  • Base Rate: $17 – $30 per hour.
  • The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage for Clearlake, CA.

Additional Compensation:

  • Performance Incentives: Eligibility for annual or quarterly performance-based incentives.
  • Premiums: Additional pay ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may be applicable in specific circumstances, such as:
    • Schedule (e.g., specific shifts).
    • Facility-specific needs.
    • Seasonal requirements.
    • Specific work performed.

    Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
