Job Title: Counter Sales Representative

Ferguson is seeking a motivated individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative.

Starting Rate: $21.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on relevant years of experience. The overall pay range for this role is $15.00 – $23.85 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to customers, guiding them to the best products for their specific needs.
  • Accurately process orders using our order management system.
  • Operate cash registers and meticulously follow established cash handling procedures.
  • Efficiently prepare and stage orders for customer pick-up, ensuring accuracy and readiness.
  • Maintain an inviting store appearance and uphold merchandising standards as advised.
  • Ensure merchandise is promptly restocked and neatly organized in designated areas.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of products is preferred.
  • General digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, is required.
  • Ability to lift, load, and potentially deliver merchandise.
  • Solid general math skills for accurate cash accounting.
  • A strong ability and willingness to learn is a must-have!
  • Excellent decision-making and communication skills.
