This Cost Accounting Intern role is crucial for supporting fiscal year-end activities and month-end closings, providing essential financial analysis and reconciliation that directly contributes to Shure’s operational accuracy and financial integrity.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconciliations: Complete account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Audit Support: Assist in generating schedules necessary for the fiscal year-end audit process.
• Variance Analysis: Review actual to budget results and provide clear explanations on identified variances.
• Cost Setting: Assist in setting standard product costs and analyzing subsequent changes.
• Price Updates: Update transfer prices within the SAP system for the new fiscal year.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting or a related field, equipping them with foundational knowledge in financial principles.
• Experience: Possesses good Microsoft Office skills, with extensive knowledge and practical experience using Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for data management and analysis. Demonstrates the ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, consistently meeting required deadlines.
• Skills: Highly organized, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player. Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate financial findings clearly. Adheres to standard instructions, practices, and procedures effectively.
