Jr Cost Accountant | Flowserve Corporation

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Reporting: Generate comprehensive month-end financial reports and reconcile all associated bookings.
• Month-End Close: Execute the month-end close process for inventory, purchasing, and accounts receivable, including detailed reconciliation.
• Project Accounting: Manage project accounting activities, including monthly review of margins and processing related financial data.
• Sales and Margin Analysis: Conduct thorough sales and margin analysis to provide insights for business decisions.
• Standard Costing System: Maintain and oversee the standard costing system, performing data analysis for cost and manufacturing insights within the business.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a relevant field, coupled with general knowledge of accounting policies.
• Experience: At least one year of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products, clear and concise communication, and the ability to proactively seek and implement improved solutions or processes.
• Bonus: Familiarity with systems such as Oracle, BPC, or SAP.
