The Tone:
This is a full-time, entry-level role at DK Security, located in-office only. DK Security is Michigan’s fastest-growing security company, established in 1995, having expanded from an investigations firm to provide uniform security, event staff security, loss prevention services, and much more. This position offers an opportunity to grow, develop, and meet new people in a professional setting while serving a critical purpose within a team atmosphere. This role is vital for finding, hiring, and onboarding exceptional talent, directly supporting the company’s expansion and solidifying client confidence in DK Security’s service.

• Mission: This role is responsible for identifying, hiring, and onboarding qualified candidates who will be valuable assets to the company and its clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Candidate Sourcing: Source, screen, and select qualified candidates who will be valuable assets to the company, ensuring a smooth journey through the entire hiring process.
• Onboarding & Support: Hire and onboard those qualified candidates, effectively transitioning them into company employees and becoming well-versed in communicating company policies.
• Operational Communication: Communicate daily with operations management regarding site needs for assigned job sites and report on recruiting efforts for sites with critical needs.
• Data Management: Make accurate annotations in the applicant tracking system and enter data into spreadsheets that are shared by other team members.
• Field Response: Respond in the field to emergency coverage requests as an officer, for which training and uniforms will be provided.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School Diploma or GED completion.
• Experience: Demonstrated core computer skills and experience with typing data into spreadsheets and word processors.
• Skills: Familiarity and comfort using a computer mouse, keyboard, and a multiple monitor setup; capability of creating and maintaining spreadsheets and documents in Microsoft Office; excellent customer service skills to create a friendly and welcoming environment for co-workers and visitors; strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm and focused for long periods of time; clear communication in the English language.
• Bonus: Prior experience in security field work is highly preferred.
