Corporate Development Associate | Intapp
The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Intapp, located in Palo Alto, CA, with a requirement to be in the office three days a week. Intapp is a growing public technology company, and this role contributes directly to its expansion by focusing on the origination, execution, and integration of M&A activities. As a core member of a small, collaborative Corporate Development team, this position offers significant exposure to senior leaders across the company and provides substantial potential for career progression.

• Mission: Support inorganic growth by driving M&A strategy, deal execution, and integration processes.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy & Execution: Support inorganic transactions across Intapp’s business units, acting as a trusted advisor and working closely with senior leaders to drive M&A strategy, deal execution, and integration.
• Strategic Research: Conduct in-depth market, industry, and competitive research to thoroughly inform the inorganic strategy.
• Financial Modeling: Build, maintain, and analyze complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, pro-forma projections, and comparable analyses, to robustly assess M&A opportunities.
• Due Diligence Management: Manage a comprehensive due diligence process involving close collaboration across multiple functions, supporting the end-to-end M&A process from initial screening to closing.
• Executive Communication: Prepare detailed written communications and compelling presentations for key senior executives.
• Integration Support: Aid the implementation of integration plans to ensure the seamless and successful absorption of acquired companies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree is required, coupled with 4-7 years of total professional work experience in a relevant field.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in Investment Banking as an Analyst is preferred, though candidates with experience as Corporate Development or Private Equity Analysts will also be considered for this role.
• Skills: This role requires highly proficient skills in performing rigorous financial, valuation, and broad quantitative analyses, alongside a deep understanding of accounting principles and operational KPIs. Candidates must possess exceptional analytical capabilities, strong problem-solving acumen, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analysis effectively to senior leadership. Additionally, strong project management skills are essential for managing complex transactions and leading cross-functional workstreams. Candidates should be resourceful, persistent, highly organized, responsive, and capable of effectively managing context shifts in a demanding work setting.
• Bonus: Previous experience working with technology companies is considered a valuable asset for this position.
